WADA e-learning

Dear ITF EB Members and Chairpersons of Standing Committees, 

Dear NGB Representatives, Grand Masters, Masters and Instructors, 

Dear Taekwon-Do practitioners, 

 

ANTI-DOPING EDUCATION 

1. We hope that everyone is keeping safe during this difficult time.

2. We refer to our earlier letter on Anti-Doping Education, dated 8 January 2020. 

3. We remind our Taekwon-Do practitioners of the importance of familiarizing themselves with the World Anti-Doping Code. In light of ensuring that our Taekwon-Do practitioners are aware of the World Anti-Doping Code, we now inform our practitioners that completing the e-learning courses are compulsory. 

4. The WADA website is very instructive and can be reached at https://www.wada-ama.org/. In particular, we require:

   1. Coaches to complete the CoachTrue module, accessible at the WADA website at https://www.wada-ama.org/en/resources/education-and-prevention/coach-true; and
   2. International athletes to complete the ALPHA module, accessible at the WADA website at https://www.wada-ama.org/en/resources/education-and-prevention/alpha.

​​​​​​​The modules are available in a few languages. You will be required to register for an account with the Anti-Doping e-learning platform (“ADel”) in order to access the e-learning modules. Please do so and choose “Taekwondo-AUT” as your Federation / Organization when you are updating your information. 

5. Please note that evidence of your attendance of these e-learning courses may be required prior to the participation of any ITF-sanctioned events. 

6. Your action to the above matters would be greatly appreciated.
